Our Mission

A.L.M.A. (Adolescents Learning Movement Arts) Vida Foundation’s mission is to connect urban at-risk youth from economically under-resourced areas with Brazilian culture and the art of Capoeira. By exposing youth to movement arts and our strong mentor community, A.L.M.A. Vida’s programs offer unparalleled support that help build character, develop self-confidence and healthy positive living. It is our unique community and creative outlets that aid in preventing and intervening in at-risk behavior.
